My background relevant to intelligent buildings consists of experience using BIM software (such as Revit, SAP, RAM, etc.) as well as some minor experience in data & networks.
Expectations for the Class:
My expectation for this course is to simply gain a large wealth of knowledge in a wide range of topics and features that aid in making a building a smart, or intelligent building in order to become a well-rounded young engineer.
Initial Definition of "Intelligent Building":
An intelligent building can be defined as a building that utilizes various technologies to create systems that function in practical, efficient, and cost-effective manners.
