My background with intelligent building is limited. I know how to use Revit to make a model. But I am lack of knowledge about Revit in building systems. And also sometimes I am confused about the connection between curtain wall and concrete wall. In other words, I am lack of knowledge in details.
Expectations for the class
I expect to learn Revit in details, not a general idea. I wish after 10-week study, I can make a functional model by using Revit. This includes structure and MEP. I want my Revit model and blueprints make sense to people who read it. Also I expect to learn how to make an animation for building model by using Revit.
Initial definition of
“Intelligent Building”
I think the key word for Intelligent Building is automatic. The building systems should be smart enough to make people feel comfortable in the building. Intelligent Building will make the building no waster of energy, methods such as automatic lighting control, ventilation control and so on. To save energy and makes the building sustainable. On the other hand, green building should be part of Intelligent Building too.
