My Background Relevant to Intelligent Buildings
Have worked, minimally, with Revit. Have spent time on a job site (for co-op), which enlightened me to how important it is to have building systems work together - the coordination meetings between the Project Managers of each system were long and required a lot of re-work late in the process of construction.
My Expectations for the Class
Become more familiar with what programs are being used and developments in the industry. I'm looking forward to the guest lecturers.
My Definition of "Intelligent Buildings"
A building whose systems are all designed in unison with each other and utilizes new/developing technologies to enhance the occupants comfort/experience.
